Dynamic Geo Enrichment
As part of its suite of creative enrichment services, Mediaplex offers an integrated State, DMA and Zip Locater. Served Flash content can be configured to retrieve a user's geo profile and display this within the graphic itself.
The example below demonstrates how a Mediaplex-served ad may be personalized to the user's own geo location. Here the user's zip code is recognized and passed dynamically into the creative messaging. The click action on this Flash creative is also set to accept the user's zip code as a parameter - thus allowing the user to deep link to the relevant/most appropriate Yelp page.
With this application:
- Mediaplex recognizes the geo attributes of the end user (i.e. state, DMA, zip) and employs its sophisticated MOJO Ad server decision logic to serve up personalized content. A user with zip code 94123, for example, would be presented with copy 'Looking for Thai Restaurants in California around Zip Code 94123'

Mediaplex redirects the user on click to a page listing Thai restaurants in the user’s local vicinity. For example, a user with zip code 94123 would be redirected to:
http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=thai+restaurant&find_loc=94105
while a user with zip code 10022 would land on this page:
http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=thai+restaurant&find_loc=10022
